The role of the Aftercare Consultant is to work collaboratively with the sales teams to aide in the achievement of sales objectives and customer satisfaction. Our Aftercare Consultants are a direct connection between our clients and our business partners. They are responsible for delivering these products and services to our customers, providing them with a completely tailored solution to their individual car care needs.

Automotive Technician - BMW

An exciting career opportunity exists for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our BMW workshopand award-winning team working on some of the most innovative products available on the market and using the latest diagnostic technology in a state-of-the-art environment.

THE POSITION:

This position would be suited to a highly motivated team player who has previous experience working within a busy workshop. With strong interpersonal skills, you will be proactive in your daily responsibilities and have the ability to work unsupervised. With leading edge technology, sophisticated equipment and highly trained technicians, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a professional working environment.

To be successful within this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrated workshop experience in detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and electrics. (BMW/European experience is preferred, but not essential);
  • Relevant Trade qualifications;
  • Excellent time management/organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and an appetite for challenge;
  • C Class Drivers Licence

Sales Manager - Used Cars

Position Criteria:

·         Minimum 3 years' experience in similar size operation with a positive track record to support your experience

·         Advanced knowledge of how to value trades with a focus on maximising values

·         Keen eye for reconditioning and a complete understanding of the entire reconditioning process so as to meet Dealership KPI'S

·         Sales training, coaching and mentoring sales staff in Road to a Sale process meeting industry benchmarks as a minimum

·         Able to plan and achieve sales targets on a constant basis meeting dealership KPI's and ensuring all sales staff achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly KPI's

·         Stock management through understanding industry trends, Stock Matrix and maximising  stock turns

·         Must be proactive in the Used Vehicle digital marketing space with an excellent knowledge of digital lead generation and social media platforms

·         Customer focused attitude is paramount and providing exceptional customer service during and after the buying process

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills with focus on teamwork

Automotive Vehicle Stock Controller

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Stock Controller, who can effectively manage our vehicle stock ordering, model mix, transfers, and Customer orders. This is a unique opportunity for a capable, enthusiastic, and energetic individual to grow with this exciting business, and would suit someone who thrives on being part of a professional and cohesive team.

To be considered, you'll be able to clearly demonstrate strong automotive stock control experience, exceptional communication, relationship building, time management and organisational skills to ensure that all Pickerings Auto Group customers' expectations are consistently exceeded.

You'll be responsible for the inward & outward flow of vehicles and will be required to provide accurate information on current stock holding and future vehicle orders.  You'll also source and swap vehicles as required and maintain a stock control, sold and delivered system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Vehicle Stock management & administration
  • Ability to accurately process vehicle orders and ensure that they meet demand, forward orders, and model mix requirement
  • Working effectively to meet ordering time-frames in line with Manufacturers' guide-lines
  • Monitoring inventory values to ensure that orders do not exceed floor plan limits
  • Sourcing & co-ordination of inter-dealer stock swaps
  • Co-ordination of Vehicle logistics & transportation
  • Preparation and processing forward order entry
  • Liaise with internal departments (New Vehicle Sales/Fleet) & prepare Pre-Delivery orders
  • Relationship building within the Dealership network

Required Experience, attributes & skills:

  • High Volume Automotive Dealership Vehicle Stock Control expertise
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle inventory management system
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Conscientious and diligent, taking full ownership for all tasks & duties
